Hi I’m Tariq Ali.

Thanks for checking out my blog. I am a value investor. I had always heard about Warren Buffett, but the summer before I started college I read the Benjamin Graham’s Intelligent Investor and Joel Greenblatt’s You Can Be a Stock Market Genius. After that, I tried every book I could find about finance, investing, business, and accounting at my school library. I use this blog to express my thoughts and loosely chronicle my journey as an investor.

Besides investing I love music and movies. I regularly attend music festivals like SXSW and the Austin City Limits Festival. My taste in music is pretty eclectic, you can check out my Last.fm page for more info on that.
