Great interview. Your site's awesome and you should definitely do more interviews.

To the point mentioned here, what is a good source for a comprehensive list of nano-caps stocks?
If I'm looking for my own version of Buffett's 1950's Moody's manual strictly for nano-caps, what is that?

Part of the problem is that screens are inherently backwards looking. Some of these companies are relatively young and as a result, you might just see losses if you look backwards. Also, screens have some other shortfalls. They may not take into account things like real estate which would be recorded at cost, not market value.

I think screens are definitely good for finding stocks selling below their NCAV, but it becomes trickier when you broaden the field.

"To find these kinds of companies you’re probably going to have to broaden your search a bit in order to find them, since they may not come up on an ordinary screen."

Can you elaborate on this point? What's the closest thing to a database in the micro/nano-cap world? Or, in other words, what is the most efficient research process for these tiny companies?

Great interview! For those interested in their portfolio, while Hummingbird doesn't have to file 13Fs they do have to file 13Ds, so you can get a flavour for their portfolio from that data that is compiled on Rocket Financial here:
http://www.rocketfinancial.com/Holdings.aspx?id...

Great interview! I also found this page after an unsatisfactory visit to Guru Focus.

I didn't know Steinway was publicly traded. Nice to know my musical training will help me as an investor (thank you, Mr. Lynch). However, I'm not so sure about the "cute" ticker symbol (LVB = Ludwig van Beethoven).
