Dear Tariq,

You have written an insightful and useful analysis and review of John Templeton's investing maxims. I thank you for it, as it has reinforced my understanding on several critical points.

It's great to see such enormous success built on a simple, consistent set of values.

Humility is also an important ingredient, which I believe is a character trait also crucial in Warren Buffett's success.

I wrote a somewhat similar review of the book 'The Warren Buffett Way' over at my blog, titled "Value Investing - ‘The Warren Buffett Way’" here http://blogandgrow.com/growth-and-value-investing-the-warren-buffett-way/

Just a quick fix for your link to Templeton’s obituary in the New York Times, the link URL is broken as it missing the 'h' from the "http://" at the start.

I'm very glad I stumbled onto your blog, via a link to another site someone had posted on Twitter. I can be found on Twitter at http://twitter.com/entregreeneur

warm regards,
